Re: mailbox full

Dropboxer

Thanks for the update @kandykone. How are you today?

If they checked all of my suggestions above, you can have them log a ticket with our team so we can assist further with their account specific inquiry.

Just make sure that there's no shared folder that causes this as shared folders do count against each member's quota.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hey there @kandykone  - sorry to hear that!

Could you clarify what the problem at hand seems to be and how it relates to Dropbox so I can assist further?

Thanks!

Following up on this as I wanted to add something @kandykone.

If, by any chance, you're referring to your Dropbox account being full, note that in this case only syncing stops. Nothing will be removed and syncing will resume when you bring your account under quota again.

To get your account under quota you can do any of the following (apart from upgrading as you don't seem to be interested in that option if I'm not mistaken):

  1. Increase your quota using referrals bonuses or other promotions.
  2. Leave any shared folders that put you over quota.
  3. Move files that don't need to sync out of your Dropbox folder.

You can always check your current quota usage on the following page if needed:

https://www.dropbox.com/account/plan

I hope this helped to some extent!
