I recently changed jobs and companies, and my employer stopped my work credit card. However, Dropbox continues to bill the old card every month. How do I cancel my subscription?

Hi there, if you’re on a Plus or Professional account, you can downgrade your plan here.

If you’re the team admin on Business, you can use this link.

Please note that you’ll need to follow the instructions on the next 3 pages to fully downgrade from the paid plan.

Hope this info helps!

I do not recall ever requesting any membership or relationship with Dropbox.
I request to be removed from any and all association and/or email lists.
You are sending email to me at:  Gary Gladstone [personal information removed]

Kindly get me off all your lists. I have no records or addrress book information pertaining to my requested association. I do not know how to sign in or out.

Please get me off your lists.

I have not used DropBox in years and just noticed a $99 fee coming out of my checking account - for the last two years.   Please unsubscribe me NOW and reimburse the $99 for this year

No one on the forums can do that for you. You need to cancel your subscription from your Account's Plan page. Unless you've cancelled your subscription, Dropbox will continue to automatically renew your subscription.

For information on refunds, refer to the following help article:

Hi there @Hmt4003 ,

At first, as @Rich also mentions, you can check the subscription that your account is on by navigating to the Plan tab. Depending on the plan, you can cancel it by following the steps outlined here

Additionally, if you don’t recognize a Dropbox charge on your credit card, you can look up the email address and payment date associated with it through our credit card charge lookup tool

If you’re still having trouble with this, please contact our Support team directly since account-specific info will be needed to further look into this.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear this @Italiansexy; I wish you the quickest recovery possible.

In regards to your concern now, could you please take a look at your account's plan tab and see if you're on any paid plan?

You can find it here:

https://www.dropbox.com/account/plan

If you see that you're on the Basic plan, you're good to go as these come for free (with 2 GB of space).

If you see that you're on an ongoing plan and active subscription, please search for the 'Cancel plan' (or downgrade button) and proceed according to your needs.

For more information on cancelling subscriptions, you can take a look here:

https://help.dropbox.com/billing/cancel-subscription

In any case, please keep us posted!

PS: For account specific inquiries (especially billing ones), you can also reach out to our Support team for further assistance by logging a ticket. You can do so from the following page if needed: https://www.dropbox.com/support
