No Free 500 MB upon new invite/referral - no way to contact support

New member | Level 2

Hello all,

I invited a friend to dropbox via email from my own dropbox program.

I always thought if you invite a newcomer to dropbox, you would be rewarded 500 mb of free storage space.

But this didn't happen.

Can someone please explain why?

And will I still be able to get the 500 mb somehow? Is there a way I can talk to real customer support people? The chatbot is just terrible and I couldn't find a way of contacting anyone and the site keeps sending me to the same place over and over despite clicking different customer support options.

Thank you for your support.

Hello @NP405, I hope you're having a good day so far!

There could be a few reasons that you may not have received the space yet for a referral you sent to a new user as they need to do a few actions before this is completed.

Please check the status of the referral with the steps outlined towards the bottom of this article and let me know what you find.

Keep me posted!
