No Plus membership despite subscribing

New member | Level 2

Only found out today when I checked my space that I have basic membership despite paying PLUS description for months? Chat told me to login using Apple ID made no difference? Going round in circles trying to contact you - don’t see why I should have to discuss this on a public forum. Want a refund please.

Hi @Byardsleap, thanks for posting on the Community!

Could you let me know the following about the subscription?

  • Did you upgrade from the Dropbox site or via the mobile app?
  • According to your bank statement, were you charged by Dropbox, iTunes, or Google Play?

Keep me posted!

Upgraded via web browser

Payment taken via iTunes subscription

That’s why they told me to login using my Apple ID but it changed nothing. Thanks

It seems like the upgrade from iTunes didn’t get applied to your account.

If you’re interested in a refund, you’d need to contact iTunes directly for assistance on this matter.

However, if you want to have the plan applied to your account, so that it upgrades, try opening the Dropbox mobile app and then tap Account. Check to see that the account signed in the same as the one on the site, then tap the gear icon on the top left, and finally ‘Restore purchases’. This should link the subscription to your account, and upgrade it.

Hope this helps!
