Not Receiving Verification Email to Change Email Address

I am trying to change my email address, but I am not receiving the verification email. I see a message stating that Dropbox has sent a verification email to the email address I specified. I've added no-reply@dropbox.com to my safe senders list, but still no verification email. Please help.

Hi there @dpblaster, thanks for reaching out to us, and sorry to hear that you're having trouble verifying your Dropbox account. 

 

Since you've done some initial troubleshooting - awesome work by the way - could you also check:

  • That you're looking through the inbox of the email address that your Dropbox account is associated with? You can check this by going to your General tab online. 
  • Your Spam/Junk folder on your email?

Thanks Lusil.

 

Yes, I checked both email inboxes and spam\junk folders for the current email account used for my dropbox account and the target email account I would like to change my dropbox to use going forward.  I received no email verification emails from dropbox.

 

Thanks and please let me know next steps.

In that case, I'd recommend opening an incognito/private window, going to our Support page, clicking on Can't sign in which will take you to this link, and filling out the form that comes up.
