Old Dropbox Accounts

I started some DropBox accounts maybe 2-3 years ago and lost the password and login info.  I recently just found those after a move, but when I go to log in, it tells me those accounts/passwords aren't valid.  Is there anyway I can get my old files back?

I'm afraid not, no.

Accounts are removed after a year of inactivity. Dropbox starts sending warnings that its going to do this about 4 months before it does this and you need to log in within that time to stop the deletion. Once they are deleted you've a few days grace to recover it. You do that simply by logging in. If you are trying to log in and its saying invalid the accounts have been totally removed.

You can check that by signing up for new accounts with the same email - recoverable ones (as above) will tell you so as you sign up.

They do email you repeatedly to tell you they are going to do it - it does not just happen so dont panic.
