Onedrive cannabalizing dropbox marketshare?

As of April 2019, Dropbox personal is $100/year for 1TB of storage.

Office 365 Home gives you 6TB of OneDrive storage total for $100/year.  That is split into 6 accounts which you can keep or share, each with 1TB of storage.

Onedrive can have multiple accounts on one computer and happily sync all accounts to separate folders on your disk, so if you like to separate your data into some folder structure, it works just fine.  Perhaps one account for pictures, one for financial data, one for personal business, and so on.

I've used Dropbox successfully for about 10 years.  I've used OneDrive sucessfully for about 5 years. They both have similar features and functionality.  I like both products.

Yet now, Dropbox is way overpriced compared to Onedrive, six times more expensive byte for byte.   How does Dropbox justify this drastic overpricing strategy based on today's technology price levels?

Should I be concerned that Dropbox will lose major marketshare due to their overpricing strategy, and eventually become irrelevant or go out of business, putting my data at risk?

I wouldn't be concerned unless you are an shareholder in Dropbox.  And even if they go out of business, they will let you know and give you time to get your data out.  Just like the hundreds of other apps out there, So your data isn't at risk

You forgot the limit of 3 devices for the free Dropbox plan.

And that with Office365 you have 6 licenses of Office + 6 x 60mins of Skype per month...

Google Drive, on the other hand, is offering 15GB for free, 2TB for $100/year. And you can invite 5 family members with their own storage and work as a team.

Dropbox is becoming seriously overpriced.

and the dropbox Reps are programmed to give you the same cookie cutter response "thank you for you concern, I'll be sure to share it...we work hard to make Dropbox yada yada yada".  I have already started looking to move my data in anticipation that Dropbox will price themselves out of the market.  I only have the free plan left for a few items.

On the other hand the infamous "3 devices" policy help them cut the costs, as free the servers from non-profitable users. Some maybe will pay, some leave, but anyway they will not generate costs without income

So yoy may sleep well, at least untill the service became obsolete and/or unpopular to the degree of forgetness.
