Opportunity for No Cost Dropbox app and storage?

I have had Dropbox for years now and just received options/orders to upgrade to different storage plans. Is your cost-free option still available? I only want Dropbox to synch one file with my iMac and see no reason to pay unnecessarilty for that service. You say....

We certainly do have the free plan available, Dropbox Basic, which offers 2 GB of quota.
