The amount you're stating is for an annual Dropbox Plus plan, and not for a Dropbox Business team, so it's only for a personal account.
Could you confirm what plan you see on this page, and the total amount of quota you see there?

Thanks, it looks like you were on a Dropbox Business team that has been downgraded. It's also in locked state, since the total quota is 1 KB.
In order regain access to the full team features and quota, the team admin would need to upgrade the team using these steps.
Thanks - the problem is - we no longer use dropbox - so we don't want to resubscribe - i'm trying to figure out what the payment is for - does that make sense?

Thanks for the info, the payment is for a personal Dropbox account. The option to disband the locked state team is in the previous link, if you or any other member wants to leave the team completely.
This will revert that account to a personal plan, so it can continue to be used normally.
Regarding the payment, if you don't see a recent payment under this page, then try locating it using the card lookup tool to see if it's under another Dropbox account.
