Payment rejected by Dropbox - I'm getting an error while trying to make a payment.

I have been trying to pay for my plan and despite multiple attempts last night and today, I'm still unable to make payment.

It keeps saying there's an error. Anyone can assist?

Hi there @loraloraloraaa, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with this!

 

Can you let me know the exact error message that you're getting? Is it something like "There was an error completing the payment"?

 

If so, to rule out any browser related issues please try the below steps to see if that does the trick:

  • Use another web browser
  • Use an incognito/private browsing window
  • Clear the browser cache and try again

Hi Daphne, 

It says "We’re having some trouble right now. Please try again later."

As mymobile is linked to a few unauthorised subscriptions, I notified the bank via a phone call to cancel some of the subscriptions and specifically requested for them not to cancel Dropbox as they are my tools for work. However the bank made a mistake and cancelled the card and sent me a new one. 

I've tried many payment methods and cards, but I'm still facing the same error message. 

Any way to rectify this asap?

Since we'd need to have a look into some account specific info, we would need to go through our Support channel.

 

Please submit a ticket with the team from here, by filling out the relevant info under the "Submit a Help Request" towards the bottom of the web page.

 

Once you've done that, you'll receive a ticket number (eg. #1234567) which you can let me know so that I can pass along the info you've already provided me here.
