Personal account deleted because of Dropbox team

Hi

I accidentally joined team on dropbox. When the team leader disabled my account, I lost access to my personal account and can no longer log on. I seem to have lost access to all the extra space I had purchased and my files. When I try to sign in I get the error 'the account has been deleted'. Is there a way to restore this ASAP.

The team admin from the Business Team needs to first restore your account, then convert it to an idividual account. Note that they only have seven days to restore an account that has been removed from a team.

Hi,

 

I use an account for sharing my files. Last week I was a member of an Dropbox-Team too, so the admin add me to his team.

Now the work is over and the admin has delete me from the team.

 

Unfortunately, I can no longer log into my "old" account. The system says my account is deactivated.

When you joined the team, your account ceased to be your own and instead belonged to the business at that point. When someone is removed from a Business team, the account is deleted. The team admin can restore your account as long as it was deleted within the last seven days.

 

 

Once your account is restored, the team admin needs to convert your account back to an individual account.
