Hi, trying to begin the use of dropbox, but for some reason the app opens for me in Russian language???
Why? Can you help me?

Can you please let me know if you were referring to the desktop app or the mobile one? 

 

While at it, what is your account's settings page showing in regards to the language used?

I am using my mobile phone , iphone now and mostly but I have a desktop pc too.

The setting page, where I am supposed to register in, came also in russian. So, I registered in russian because I wanted to see the photos sent to me (not in russian or from russia)

I see, thanks for the additional details, Tarja.

 

Can you clarify the OS of the device you used to do this and the version of the mobile app as well?

 

Also, could you let me know what language is shown in your account's settings page on our website?

Not sure I understand the question correctly, but I use Iphone and Safari and Dropbox Basic - I think.
All the information on the account page is in Russian. Shall I close the account totally and try again or what? I will soon give up using Dropbox at all.

Hey @tarja bohm, you don't need to close the account, let's see what we can find first. 

 

In your account's settings, there should be an option to set the language. 

 

Specifically, it should be the one above the date format, under Preferences

 

Could you try that out and let us know what you see?

 

If you have any trouble along the way, send us a screenshot (without any personal info) so that we can have a better look as well.
