I had a promotionnal code from N26 to get extra 25GB on dropbox, but I entered the code on an unused other account that I had. I did not remember about this 2nd account, so I closed it.
Then I tried to use my code on my "real" account but it has (of course) already been used. My question is: could the commercial team at dropbox proceed to a kind of "reset" of my code, that I can use it for real?
Hey there @jsbach34, I hope you had a good weekend!
We wouldn't be able to transfer the space from one account to another I'm afraid, once it's been redeemed on an account there isn't much we can do from our side.
I could suggest transferring your data from your "real" account to the one that the space was redeemed on, which you could do with these steps.
In this case, you could also then change the email address linked with the Dropbox account to use the "real" account's email.
You would need to use a 3rd email that you can access, to first free up the email from the "real" account. You can then change the email linked with the account the space was redeemed on to the "real" email.
Otherwise, you could try reaching out to N26 to see if they can help you at all by generating another code for you.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
