Received a mail that Your plan is changing

I receive a (reminder of a) mail that my plan is changing and will be charged 119.88 plus taxes. I have a basic Dropbox account. What is going wrong? Thanks!

Hi @Boschbol; welcome to the Community and happy Monday!

 

Could you check if the email address you received the mentioned email matches the one you see on your account's plan tab on your settings online?

Thanks for double-checking this for me @Eus59!

 

In this case, in order to look further into this, I'd suggest trying an incognito window.

 

When on this page, click on the 'Need help with a billing issue?' button and submit a Help Request from the relevant option at the bottom of the page and provide as much information as possible about your case along with an email address we can reach you.

thanks Walter, I just did. Had to fill in my creditcard etc. There was no payment yet but just an announcement.

Also curious why you changed my name from Boschbol to Eus59. Anyway, I hope the problem will be solved soon. I see in the community many people face the same issue.

Can you forward me a full screenshot of the email you received so I can have a better look into this? 

 

If you only have Basic accounts, you shouldn't be receiving emails like this. 

 

As per your different usernames here, it seems like you logged and posted here on our Community from another account (i.e. using another email address of yours).
