Referral status: Completed, but no extra space (haven't reached the maximum number of referrals)

Referral status: Completed, but no extra space (haven't reached the maximum number of referrals)

Hey there,

So I have invited a few of my friends, and normally when I did that, we both got an e-mail confirming that the referral has been succesful and the extra space was granted almost inmediately.

Well, today I tried invited a few of my other friends and all I get in my referrals is "Completed", without the "500MB" and the tick showing that it was all good, although that I haven't reached the maximum number of referrals on my account.

So far, only 23 referrals, still have 9 to get.

What's going on?

Thank you.

Roy

Hi there @Roy1819, thanks for posting!

When you check in your Plan page online, are you able to expand the table where it shows your earned space?

It may be that you're not seeing the full list of referrals there.

Also, how much additional space have you gained for your account? For referrals, you can earn up to 16 GB.

Let me know what you find!

Hi Daphne,

Yes, I expanded the list and count all of the refreels.
It's weird, for example, for 10 refereels its written completed and then two other it says 500mb and so on..

I gaibed for refereels as I mentioned..

25.88gb, but I gained it for other reasons and not because I invited friends.

https://www.dropbox.com/account/plan will show ALL the bonus space you've earned and from what. I've never, ever known the referral status to stop giving out space incorrectly.

You are on 25.88 gb - the max from referrals is 16gb, so, even with that maxed out plus your 2gb standard account you've also acquired 7gb or so from other things
