I was not using this gmail id for the past few years.I stored many of my files on the Dropbox id of this account.I didn't read your email regarding closing of my Dropbox account.I am requesting you to please help me getting my data as it was very important for me

If your account is idle for more than a year, it's deleted due to inactivity. When this happens, all files stored in the account are also deleted. Unless the deletion just took place recently, there's no way to recover the account or the files it contained. They would already have been removed from the system.
