Rude Chat Support Refuses to help.

I'm so disgusted with DropBox. They constantly send me notices claiming that I'm logging in from a new computer. I'm not. Same computer. Same account. Same credentials. I completed their CAPTCHA test asking me to arrange an image and make it vertical. Did that successfully twice, yet locked out. Myron, the "Chat" specialist refused to help and told me to wait 24 hours. I shouldn't have to wait to use an account that I paid for. Unlock it.

Unless you select the Remember Me option, you will always receive an email when signing in, even from a computer you use all the time. You can disable that email from the Notifications settings in your account, but that will also disable it completely, even for any fraudulent attempts to access your account. You should leave it on.

When did you use the chat option, and was it the Sales chat or Support chat? I ask because you're posting this on the weekend. Dropbox Support doesn't work weekends and would have been closed since Friday. Also, Support Chat is only available to Professional and Business accounts. Basic and Plus accounts don't have access to live Support chat. Sales Chat doesn't have access to account information and wouldn't be able to help you.

Also, there are some fraudualent third-party support sites that impersonate Dropbox, Dell, HP, Microsoft, etc., and I just want to be certain that you didn't fall victim to one of those.

They refuse to comply with Americans with Disability Act protocols and the Digital Rights for Disabled Persons Charter by refusing phone support for people who cannot easily type. I cannot access any support and I have very time sensitive information that I need for court on their cloud. This is awful.
