Security code not working on new mac

Security code not working on new mac

Adding Dropbox to new mac and transferred data etc from old mac. When I sign in it sends a security code to my phone which when entered to Dropbox is 'invalid'. Not sure what is going on having tried several times...

Thank you for your response - I rebooted the computer and it started working for some reason it worked. Doesn't make sense but glad I can access it now

Hello there @LG2811, thanks for posting!

 

Are the SMS codes delayed in arriving to your mobile device? Or do you receive them pretty quickly?

 

Also, are you able to use the SMS code to sign in via the website, for example, without the same error?

 

Let me know and we can go from there!
