Signed up for free trial but subscription doesn’t take effect

Signed up for free trial but subscription doesn’t take effect

Signed up for free trial but subscription doesn’t take effect. It shows that i have the subscription until 03/09/20 but it does not reflect in my dropbox account. My storage is still at 2GB. Any one encountered this problem before?

Hello there @cluelessuser, thanks for reaching out to us. 

 

If you don't see the relevant space applied on your Dropbox account, could it be that you started a trial on a different account?

 

You can check this by having a look at the email address you used to sign in, by going to:

  • Website - your General tab in your Settings.
  • Desktop app - Dropbox icon > avatar icon > Preferences > Account tab.
  • Mobile app - Account tab (iOS) or Settings (Android).

If you find that it's the same account, could you clarify how you upgraded? Was it through the mobile app or the website?

I checked, its the same account. I upgraded on the mobile app (IOS). I created another account to test and it turned out the same. It says that i have upgraded but my storage space is still 2GB instead of 2TB.

Hi @cluelessuser; thanks for the update on this matter.

 

I'm not sure if that's the case here, but can you make sure you're using the most up to date version of your iPhone's OS and our mobile app's as well?

 

You may also want to try to restore your purchases as outlined in the following Help Center article:
