I attempted to sign into my Dropbox account and a message came up stating my password had been expired. Next stated the option to reset password using the email address linked. I no longer have access to the email account linked as it is so old I forgot all the security details so I can’t even recover it. I have sentimental photos and videos on this drop box account and I’m stressing out because I can’t even talk to a (human) support team to help which is really annoying. Can anybody help?

Hey @Chynavi, thanks for reaching out to us about this. 

 

When a password has expired and you don't have access to the email address associated with your Dropbox account, you can try resetting it from a linked device.

Hey there,

I don’t have any other devices linked as I signed out of it on my laptop because I had to get my laptop wiped. :(

Thanks for your update here @Chynavi.

 

I'm afraid that since you no longer have any connected devices, or access to the email address the account is associated with, there's not much more we could suggest to regain access to your Dropbox account.

 

The email address is used as a way to verify account ownership, so the best we could suggest would be to try regain access to the email account.
