Space bonos referral

Hi Dropbox Support and Community:

I have referred my daughter, she is studying from the home and she has been needing a cloud space to share her works and tasks, I sent her an invitation, and she has already installed Dropbox in the computer that she is using to study, but the referral status appears as 'Ineligible' and shows: This invitation looks suspicious. This usually happens if you sign up for multiple accounts on the same computer.
Can I get the space bonus if she is my daughter and is using a computer that was mine? Her account is new!

Thanks!

Hi there @Andres Suarez T; thanks for posting on our Community!

It's true that your referral to your daughter could be considered as ineligible as she's attempting to register using the same computer as you.

This would only work for unique computers which are not already associated with a Dropbox account.

I hope this clears things up and please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Walter, thanks for your response.

If she installs DropBox in a new computer, but, with her already created account, is it valid to get the referral bonus?

Thanks.

At this point, I can't be sure if this would work @Andres Suarez T.

If it doesn't work though, you may need to use another email address of hers to refer her to Dropbox so you can both earn the additional space.

I hope this helps to some extent and please let me know if there's anything else I can assist with.
