I was running out of basic free space, so I upgraded to the next tier. I'm still getting notices that I'm almost out of space, but my credit card shows that I'm being billed. Why wasn't my upgrade seemless -- or what didn't I do?

Did you make sure you upgraded the right account? You can check your account status at www.dropbox.com/account - do that on all devices to see which one has the increased quota

you are right! I have two different Dropbox accounts is there a way to merge them? They are both mine but under two different email addresses

I'm afraid merging two individual accounts are not an option at this time, @staufferke

ok, since I just created the new account under a different email, unwittingly thinking I was upgrading the old account, I'll close the new account that has no files, then upgrade the old account where all my files are. Does that work?
