Switching from mobile subscription to website

Switching from mobile subscription to website

Hello, I can’t find any info on if it’s possible to cancel my mobile subscription (Apple) & switch to a website subscription without deleting my Dropbox Plus account. I just want to pay Dropbox directly & remove Apple from the process. Thank you.

No. Syncing will stop until you resubscribe (because you'll be over quota), but your files will not be deleted and you won't have to reupload anything.

You need to cancel your current subscription through Apple and allow your account to downgrade. Once it's downgraded, you can resubscribe through the Dropbox website.

Do you know how long you can be downgraded before they delete your files if you don't resubscribe immediately?

Hi @Bobsid98k, welcome to our Community!

Please be aware that if your account is ever downgraded, Dropbox will not delete any of your files. As long as the account remains active (you frequently log into the account), you can keep it over quota for as long as you want.

I hope this clarifies!
