Taking over Pro account for a previous employee

New member | Level 2

I'm replacing an employee that had a Pro account.  She gave me a password and said that Dropbox would be sending me an email with further instructions, but that never happened.  What should I do now?  My basic account isn't

sufficient.  Thanks.

Sign in to the account on the Dropbox website and change the email address assocaited with the account to that of your own.

This was done already. However, I still don’t have the Pro capabilities. Next step? I’d love to talk to a Dropbox support person to straighten it out, but can’t find a number to call. That’s frustrating.

Hey @andreastevens, welcome to the Dropbox Community!

Subscriptions can't be transferred from one account to another. As @Rich said, you'll have to sign in with the relevant credentials.

From there, check if the Plan tab reflects the subscription the Dropbox account should be on.

Let us know how it goes - thanks!
