Team account replacing personal account and losing access to personal account in Dropbox app

hi, my Team admin disconnected me from my team account and for some reason my team account now replaced my personal account (which were linked). The result is that i can no longer access my personal account using the Dropbox app or via File Explorer. 
In the app I can only add a Team account and not my Personal account again.  Can someone assist me with this?

Hi @adebroe, I'd be happy to help with this!

Since you were removed from the team, you won't be able to connect your work and personal accounts together anymore.

This is because only users on a Business team can link their personal account to their work one. 

Would you prefer to have your personal account currently visible on your desktop app, instead?
