Knowing that my free trial was ending today, yesterday I went to Dropbox to cancel it. Everywhere I looked, there was no mention of my trial or the upcoming expiration date. It said my subscription was the free one, Basic. Therefore, since there was no indication of the expiring trial, I figured I must have taken care of the matter earlier and failed to cross it off my to-do list. However, today, my credit card was charged $199 for a year-long Professional subscription that I don't need or want. Today I tried to remedy the situation, but the chatbot either gave me links that I looked at yesterday or gave me links that do not pertain to my situation. HOW DO I CANCEL THIS ERRANT CHARGE?

In cases like this, I usually suggest trying anincognitowindow without logging into any Dropbox account.
From there, when onthis page,click on the 'Need help with a billing issue?' button and submit a Help Request from the relevant option at the bottom of the page and input your payment's information along with an email address we can reach you.
