Unable to Log In to Dropbox from Holiday Home

We have a holiday home in North Wales and the site owner provides the WiFi. I also have a Netware WiFi booster plug with its own security which I have set up and password protected. While I am there I often need to access my Dropbox folders however I am unable to do so. I cannot log on to the App and get an error message saying there is no WiFi (although I am able to access other sites with no problems). Again, when I try to access my account via a Browser this comes up with a blank page so I can’t even contact support while I am there. Why is this happening? It is really inconvenient as I spend a lot of time up there and need to access Dropbox. I am paying for this service and it isn’t working!

Sounds like an issue of your WIFI to me. Did you already try to restart your WIFI router (e.g. by plugging it off and in again)? Sometimes this works like magic

1. Can you connect to other websites?

2. If you open up the command prompt and type "ping dropbox.com", what happens?

3. What is your Internet speed according to fast.com?

I have tried this several times but with the same result - no access to Dropbox. Thanks anyway.

1. Yes, I can connect to all other websites with no problem.
2. I will try solution 2 the next time I am up there in a couple of weeks.
3. I will also do the speed test at the same time.

I’m at home at the moment so can’t try the fixes that have been suggested. I wonder if it could be a WiFi security issue although I have accessed my Dropbox using the same WiFi previously. The problem only seems to have developed in the last few weeks. I will keep you updated.
