Unable to edit old email address

I am unable to change/edit an old email address on my account using my new email, as the response says "email is already taken".  Which is my current email, so I don't know what to do...maybe I have two accounts open?

That means there's already a Dropbox account using that email address. You'll need to sign-in to that account and change its email address before you can use the email address on another account.
