The dropbox account is run on behalf on a committee which changes yearly and holds confidential information. I have changed the password to access the account and disabled all devices using the security section in my account but a previous user has indicated that they are still able to access the account via the laptop based app. I am unable to see this access on the security section of the account. How is it possible that this person can access the information? Is there anything I can do about this apart from disable the account?
If you can't see the device they're talking about in your account's Security page, then, they'll probably referring to the Dropbox folder that remains as a local copy on their computer even after unlinking their device from the account.
