A colleague had a Dropbox Plus account associated with a work e-mail.

The colleague left the company and thus no longer has access to this email address any more.

On top of that she forgot her password, so she cannot sign in and there is no way to recover her password.

We do not need this account so we would like to unsubscribe.

I had reached out to Dropbox and was assigned Ticket #10250018.

Somehow my response to the dropbox support was not getting through and the ticket might have been closed.

Hi @SK16; thanks for joining our Community!

 

I checked back on the ticket ID you provided and it's indeed closed as this was initially logged back in February.

 

In this case, I'd suggest using an incognito window without signing into any Dropbox account to contact our support team for further assistance. 

 

When on this page, click on the 'Need help with a billing issue?' button and submit a Help Request from the relevant option at the bottom of the page and input your payment's information along with an email address we can reach you.

 

I hope this gets resolved for you soon!

Update: A team member from Dropbox reached out to me, took care of my request promptly and issued a refund.  Thank you for your help.

Hi @DH-27, I'm sorry to hear about this.

 

Did you originally upgrade via the Dropbox site, or the mobile app? According to your bank statement, was the payment from Dropbox, iTunes or Google Play?
