Upgraded to Dropbox Plus My Account Still Shows As Basic

Upgraded to plus through IOS but my account still shows as basic. Charge went through on my card. It is the correct email that I am logging in on and I have tried to “restore purchases” as well.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Renewed subscription shows basic plan

I renewed the plan, late after debit card had expired, but now when login, both in app and browser, it says I’m over the storage limit and I need to upgrade. Apple support is no help.

Hi there @r_e_x, welcome to the Dropbox Community!

I'd be more than happy to help, but I'll just need a bit more info on this. For example:

  1. Did you upgrade through a mobile device or our website?
  2. Could the subscription be applied to a different account associated with another email address than the one you're looking at?

You can check the email connected to your Dropbox account from:

  • Website - your General tab in your Settings.
  • Desktop app - Dropbox icon > avatar icon > Preferences > Account tab.
  • Mobile app - Account tab (iOS) or Settings (Android). 

Let me know what you find!

We don't see Dropbox account or billing details via the Community for security and privacy reasons. 

To investigate this and help you further, I have emailed the address associated with your Community profile. 

Whenever you get the time, please respond there with the transaction ID of the charge.

How did you upgrade @VinzClortho ? It should be instant.

Have you tried restarting to device?

I used a link on the dropbox website while logged into my account.  I paid with PayPal.

You are going to need to contact support I'm afraid via www.dropbox.com/support and ask them to look in to it - make sure you include the PayPal transaction IDs etc

I submitted a request today and am waiting for a reply.  I hope I did it correctly.  I am finding their website and support to be very difficult to work with and extremely unhelpful.

Once ticket is logged you can track and trace at http://dropbox.zendesk.com - please remember though support does not work weekends.
