Upgrading from Dropox Basic to Plus

Hi all

 

I normally help fellow Dropbox users on the Community forum, but this time I need clarity.

 

I have 2x Dropbox accounts. 1x Dropbox Basic and 1x Dropbox Business.

 

A friendly Dropboxer allocated some storage space to me on the Basic account, but obviously I will need to upgrade to a paid subscription to use Passwords, Vault, Rewind, and more.

 

My question is: what will happen to the space that was allocated to my Basic account? Will I loose it, or will it be added to the 2TB on the Plus account?

You won't lose your referrals whether you upgrade or downgrade your Dropbox account.

 

Your referrals will simply be worth different values, depending on your plan.

Your referrals will simply be worth different values, depending on your plan.

I have upgraed from basic to plus..but my account shows basic and my password shows plus..what did i do wrong

Sounds like you actually have 2 accounts - make sure you are logging in on all devices to the same email and password.
