Upgrading from Plus to Professional yearly plans - what happens with my money?

If I have a Dropbox Plus plan that I'm paying a yearly subscription for and upgrade to Dropbox Professional while my Plus plan is still active, what happens with the money I paid for the Plus plan? Does it get refunded or counted towards the Professional plan?

Hi @laurynasram, thanks for messaging the Community!

 

If you are going to upgrade to an annual Dropbox Professional plan, then you'd pay a prorated amount for the remainder of the current Dropbox Plus duration. 

 

For instance, if you've been on a Dropbox Plus plan for 6 months, then you'd pay for 6 months on a Dropbox Professional plan, minus the difference between the plan costs for that period.

 

You can check this on the billing page on your account.
