Hi -  I signed up for a business plan thinking it was $12.50 a month. All of a sudden there's a $450 charge pending on my bank acc. I realise I perhaps didn't read the details correctly - but even the yearly charge for the basic business acc is apparently only $150 py so why am I being charged so much and can I reverse it easily?

Hi @NNeuhaus, thanks for messaging the Community!

 

I'm sorry to hear about this. It sounds like you're referring to a Dropbox Business Standard plan for the price you're referring to.

 

When you made the purchase, it would have stated that the minimum number of licenses for a Dropbox Business team is 3, so you'd need to pay for the three licenses, which is why you're seeing the difference there.

 

As this is related to sensitive billing info, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail. You can do this by logging into your account, clicking this support link and providing as much info as possible.

Thanks for your message Jay.
I emailed the team today so hopefully something comes of that. I ended up cancelling the business plan I mistakenly signed up for (a moment of stupidity on my part!) and paid for a Plus account - which is what I should’ve done in the first place. Hoping I will be reimbursed or the transaction cancelled. Fingers crossed!!!
