What do I do if I exceed my max storage on my Professional plan?

New to this forum and I’m not able to find the answer to this question: When the day comes that my backup requirements exceed 2TB of storage on the professional personal plan and I don’t have 3 people to collaborate with for a team plan, is my only option to create another Dropbox account with another email address to continue to save files/photos with another 1TB or 2TB plan?

Hey there Doug - happy Monday!

It's true indeed that, currently, we only offer a 1TB plan for new Dropbox Plus accounts or 2TB for Professional accounts. The free, Basic plan comes with 2 GB as I'm sure you know.

As you discovered, larger plans are only available with our corporate solution, Dropbox Business. You can find out more information (and sign-up here if needed):

Having said that and as I understand your track of thought, I'll be passing your comments along to our product team for future consideration for even larger, individual plans.

Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to ask or add here and I'll be happy to follow up.

Have a lovely week too!
