I just ran member data report and could someone please clarify what "Usage (in MB, updates every 8 hours)" means?

Hi @out2late, thanks for posting on the Community!
This message tells you how often the statistics are updated for the total amount of data used by each user.
Basically, it isn’t a live version of their current data usage, but could be up to 8 hours old, before it is refreshed again.
Hope this helps to clarify matters!

Appreciate the reply 🙂
So does the usage equate to what they have used in total since they joined and their total its getting updated every 8 hours?
Basically, it’s their current quota usage (not the total that they have ever used), and that amount is updated every 8 hours.
This helps you to determine if someone on the Dropbox Business team is storing more data than expected on their account, which could be affecting the others if the maximum limit is reached.
Sorry but I'm just not unstanding the meaning. Pehaps if I show you our member data, you could put my question to rest. Please use a couple names/numbers below to help explain what you mean.
It's how much storage space a person is using (i.e. how much data they have stored in Dropbox) at the last scan interval.
