It would appear that Dropbox pushes advertisements onto my operating system because I am nearing the end of my free storage space.
This is not cool.
How do I disable "out of space" notifications that push me to upgrade?
If they cannot be disabled (I wouldn't be surprised that dropbox would take away that level of consumer control over a free product)
then what threshold do the notifications stop?
Thank you.

Ah, I understand.
Because of this policy, I will be closing my Dropbox account. I understand advertisements within the program, but I categorically reject the notion that it requires desktop push notifications to do so.
Thank you.
