When downgrading to Basic, I received an email saying I can't add new files. Why is that?

I downgraded to basic and received the following email:

"Your account has been downgraded to our Dropbox Basic plan. None of your files have been deleted, but you won't be able to add new files to Dropbox. Please update your billing information to upgrade your account again.

Hi @SkyWalker505, thanks for posting on the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about this. It sounds like your account has been downgraded to a Basic plan, so you received this message because your account could have been overquota at the time of the downgrade.

When an account is overquota, no new files or edits will be synced.

Could you check the current quota on your account and let me know what you find!

Thanks, Jay. I am not over quota: "Using 397.73 MB of 2.25 GB"

Perhaps at the time of the downgrade, as I mentioned, the account could have been overquota, and then you deleted data from the account.

As it is currently, there should be no issues adding new files to your account.
