So what exactly did go wrong Uri?

As I don't have a visual of your current account, plan or subscription I' d strongly suggest that you consulted with the help center article I quoted above (https://www.dropbox.com/help/billing/change-information).

This shows all the steps you need to take to change your billing information for all plans and kinds of subscriptions.

Note that if you originally made the purchase through your mobile's app store, you'd need to take a look here: https://www.dropbox.com/help/billing/plus-upgrade-on-mobile

I hope this helps and if you stumble upon an issue, please attach a screenshot here so I can have a visual of the problem as well, in order for me to send you the most appropriate next steps, if needed that is.

Dropbox DOES NOT MAKE IT EASY to access your account.  I am been on a computer for 35 years straight and your site is the least friendly I use.  Can't you make account setting available under my sign in?  Where Install is?    Where everyone else does?

They already are. Just go to your account page and all of your account settings will be there.
