Why can't I reset my password for my old account?

Years back i started my dropbox with the email [Removed as per Community Guidelines], this was a domain i owned for a long time and just rebought it thinking i could reset my password if i started the email back up when i rebought the domain. After all that i want to reset my password and put the email in the reset request and i never get the email. Not to sound negitive but i cant find any other support email or anything to set a ticket with drop box. Any help would be awesome, thanks.

Hi @fatboi615, thanks for posting on the Community!

 

I'm sorry to hear about this. If a user hasn't accessed a Dropbox account for over 12 months, then the account is deactivated by Dropbox.

 

Resetting the password for that account years later wouldn't allow you to regain access to the account, or the files within, since it would have already been deleted from the servers.
