Why was I charged a Dropbox Plus subscription when I already downgraded to Basic?

I was just now charged with 9.99€, after just two days ago my account was downgraded from Plus to Basic. What happened and how can I get refunded?

Hi @Keys, let's see what we can do here!

 

Was the charge directly from Dropbox, or through the Google/Apple app stores?

 

Also, is your account still showing as a Basic plan when you check your plan page here?

Hi Daphne.

 

It was through Google/App Store.

Yes, it shows Dropbox Basic, and I was notified when the change was made.

Thanks for getting back to me here @!

 

In this case, as the payment and subscription is handled by the app store, I'd have to suggest reaching out to them to refund the charge that was made by mistake.
