Wrong Account - Now email is wrong

Wrong Account - Now email is wrong

Question ... I signed up but mistakenly signed up as a Team not an individual.  I removed the team and signed back up as an individual but only have 1 email.  Now it won't let me validate my email because it says that I already have an account.

 

What do I do?

Initially, please remember that if you cancelled a Dropbox Business trial or subscription, the Dropbox accounts in the team stay connected and transition to a free team. You can check your subscription by navigating to the Plan tab via the Dropbox website
 
You can also leave the team so as to revert back to an individual Dropbox account. This way, you don’t have to sign up again since you presumably have a Dropbox account already, but instead just sign in.

I pay for my 2 T storage but i wrote a wrong email. How can i set the right email. I didn´t install the 2T yet.

Hey @chupaacabra, thanks for nudging us on this thread. 

 

You can switch your emails between your accounts by following these steps

 

If you have files under your original account, the files won't transfer upon changing the email address, so you'll have to move them. You can do this by following the suggestions outlined in this article
