can I keep the downgrade after credit card change?

can I keep the downgrade after credit card change?

New member | Level 2

Around the same time of renewal of my Plus subscription my bank issued another credit card so I was downgraded to Free. As I just had another backup solution the downgrade is not an issue for me. I am uncertain if I can just let this situation be or do I have to "cancel" my Plus subscription (which is no longer Plus but Free)?

Futhermore, can I just remove all unneeded files so I'm within the limit of my Free account and be done with it?

Searching through the help and community pages I couldn't find a clear answer, so here's my question as I'm sure that someone has dealt with this before.

Cheers Peter

Hi @PE2020, thanks for posting today!

If you wish to leave the account downgraded, then you don't need to make any changes.

If the account is overquota, it won't sync any changes, so if you wish you can delete any unneeded files from the account until you're underquota so it can sync again.

Hope this helps!
