I need to change my dropbox email address back to my personal one as it is currently on my old work one. It won't allow me to do this saying My email address is already taken but that is because I used to have dropbox registered to it.

When you say relevant credentials what do you mean? Password? That I would have to guess at or make a new one as I only have a note of the password relative to my old work email.
I am being blocked whatever I try and this is so frustrating as I need to use dropbox to send important videos. Until I can access my original account Dropbox is useless to me. Please help me as this whole issue is very frustrating, time consuming and is preventing me from being able to function delivering important work. I just want to be able to use my personal email again. Thank you.

If the account sstill exists and you still have access to the email address, reset the password for the account.
