I want to delete my account but it keeps saying "can't send an email. please try again" when I have to type password sent by dropbox.

So  i tried to change my email address, but again, it says "can't send an email. Please try again." PLEASE I WANT TO DELETE MY DROPBOX ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What email address are you using? An old one or is ist still used?

And are you trying to cancel dropbox from the desktop client or the browser version?

Yes, I followed the steps same as you mentioned, but when I click "permanently delete", this comes out. Then I click the "send email", the red post on top that says "could not send email. Please try again" keeps coming out. Can you see it? PLEASE help me:(Screenshot_20200929-232113_Gallery (1).jpg

No, I am still using it. And sorry, what do you mean cancel..? I want to delete my account permanently cuz I don't use it anymore.

Can you try accessing the Dropbox site from a desktop machine and browser to see if this helps?

 

Have you tried setting a password on the security page?

I tried accessing the site tons  of times from desktop machine and browser but no work. Only I can see is "could not send email.please try again" When I try to set password, and click "submit", this comes out then. Please tell me why deleting account20200930_012046 (1).jpg is so difficult:(

Have you tried a different browser as well?

 

How about an incognito window?
