My wife just signed up for the family plan, as I just have the basic, and my dropbox is full. She sent me an invite to her "family", but we can NOT figure out how to "merge" our accounts so that I can share my files in the family plan. in other words, my dropbox is still full. Do I have to make a new account within her "family"? If so, how do I get my files that are in my "basic" account over to my "new" account in her "family'? Any help would be appreciated, we've been trying to make this work for two hours. Thanks!

Hi there @houlismith; thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

 

To directly get to the chase, your wife will need to add you to the Family account as a family member using these steps
