get rid of defunct business account and start basic account using the same email address -- how??

I started a business account on a free trial seven months ago while I was taking an online class, and the group posted a few things no one wants anymore. I did not renew the account and no one wants it or has ever used it since. But now I need to send a video file to the city water department, which only accepts them through Dropbox, and the old business account is keeping me from using Dropbox Basic for this one task. What do I do? Need help ASAP (like, yesterday!)

Hey there @leanne3, I hope you're well today!

Could you let me know exactly what your plan page here is showing as your account's current plan?

Is it possible that when the trial expired, your account was put in a "locked state", as outlined here?

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there!
