have problem for deleting device

I have used dropbox for more than 8years, so I cannot remember how to use it anymore.  My friend try to create a link for me to transfer her photos to my dropbox account.  However, when I tried to restart my old account, the system said that I can only link up with 3 devices max., so I tried to delete one of the device and try to link up with my new iphone.  Unfortunately when I delete those old device, a message popped up and said that I need to delete the link with 9 devices.  I really got lost and I not sure what they are referrring to as I don't have any 9 devices at all.


Please help me so I can reuse the dropbox and enjoy free basic service.

Hi there @stella_ym_chung, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this!


If you haven't already, can you check your account security page here to have a look at the devices that are currently connected?


If you're able to see some old devices there that weren't correctly unlinked, please remove these with the "x" to the right of the device entry.
