move paid account to free account and move earned free space to new account

Hi

I have a paid account of 2 TB, monthly payment.

It is connected to my work - email, and I have been told that this is not allowed to have a dropbox account with my work - email anymore.

That gives 3 questions:

1.

I have a free account , and wish to merge the two.

How do I merge them into the free account ?

Do I have to make the free account to a pail subscription first, and then move the files and then delete the work - account ?

2.

Is there an easy workaround in moving the files ?

3.

The account which I must close also contains a lot of earned extra free space.

Over the years I have earned 11 GB of free space.

This is now doubled to 22 GB because of the paid subscription.

Can I merge the earned free space or is it lost when merging the accounts ?

Thank You in advance.

Hey @JesperN, thanks for reaching out to us.

The easiest way to do this would be to switch emails.

That way, you can keep the subscription and earned space on the account you want to keep but replace it with the email address you want to connect.

Once you do that, any files you want to move into the Dropbox account you kept, you can do so by following the steps outlined here

Let me know if this helps!
