my other Dropbox account that I use for work is full and no longer is syncing

New member | Level 2

Hello:

my other Dropbox account that I use for work is full and no longer is syncing.

What do I do now? Can I open and access any of my files, or are they now erased for good?

Is the only way to get into the account involve upgrading. I am charged $12 on my credit card

and I thought I did upgrade to get more space (a 1T at least). Can you help me please.

Hey @Finn67, I'd be more than happy to help out!

Generally, when your account has reached or exceeded the maximum storage limit, your account doesn't sync. This means that you can't add new or edit existing files.

So don't worry, your active files aren't affected by this, you can still log into your account and download any file you have stored.

You can find ways mentioned in this article to tackle this.

As for your upgrade, could you have a look at your Plan tab to check the subscription your account is on and how much space it reports as being available?

Give me a nudge whenever you get the chance to check these out. Thanks!
